shore, from where a delightful stroll will take you to the enchanting
little town of St Gilgen.
This is truly a Five Star Bridge coup! The hotel is owned and run by one
of the most charming and elegant of families, the Hollwegers. each of
the individually designed and beautifully appointed rooms overlook the
lake. The food here is quite excellent! The hotel
has just 52 bedrooms, and we feel privileged to have aquired a group

the moment that you arrive at St Gilpen, you will experience a surreal

area around Lake Wolfgang is splendidly suited for hiking. No matter
whether you want to walk around the lake, or prefer taking in the
Salzkammergut from up high, you're sure to have a wonderful experience.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was inspired by St. Gilgen! Like many guests
from all over the world he once appreciated the spectacular scenery and
the crystal clear lake. Walking along the lake or going up on the Zwölferhorn
mountain in a cable railway you can enjoy the delightful countryside,
the fresh, clean air, and the immense variety of our flora and fauna.
Another
