BRIDGE PROGRAMME 2008

HOME HOLIDAYS FLIGHTS PROGRAMME DIRECTORS RESULTS

In organising holiday congresses, we endeavour to cater to all levels of ability, and to ensure that the bridge is played in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The laws of bridge are observed, but we do our utmost to ensure that enforcement of those laws is carried out in a sympathetic and understanding way.

Our holidays are based on duplicate bridge sessions. However, if there should be sufficient demand then separate sessions of rubber/chicago will be organised on request. Our hostess and tournament director are always on hand to help make up partnerships, thereby guaranteeing that no one is ever left without a partner.
Our teams events are generally held a few days into the holiday, in order that people may find compatible team mates.

During the holiday, there are normally two free days, on which privately organised excursions take place, but for the bridgeaholics there is almost always some fun bridge arranged for the evening by an enthusiastic guest!

Prizes are awarded in all of our events and master points awarded for all save the final session of the holiday the Farewell Pairs. The winners of our championship events are awarded trophies  Please note that we do not allow smoking in
the playing area.

Seminars/lectures may be available at intervals throughout the holiday.

All events will be scored by computer.

Each of our holidays is EBU licensed.

All bridge fees are included in the price of your holiday.

Smoking is not allowed in the playing area.
