KAIRABA HOTEL
Just twenty minutes drive from the Banjul international Airport, the luxurious 5 star Kairaba Hotel is set in 40 acres of lush tropical gardens which lead directly to the long golden beach of Kololi, on West Africa's finest coastline.

One of the best hotels in The Gambia, The Kairaba offers a perfect atmosphere in which to relax and unwind, and continues to have high levels of guests returning year after year. The well furnished de luxe bedrooms which are allocated to our party are arranged in two storeys in a Portuguese style, and offer an excellent standard of comfort. Most of them form a horseshoe with views over the beautiful landscaped gardens towards the central pool and the ocean.

Guests benefit from a variety of restaurants in which to dine. Breakfast is served in the Kingfisher restaurant which enjoys a magnificent outlook over the mature gardens. The Malimbe poolside snack bar provides excellent lunches and occasional themed buffet evenings. Shikra, the hotel's a la carte restaurant, provides an air of sophistication, whilst there is a lively and informal atmosphere in the outside bistro, Casa Fernando's and the Havana Club coffee bar. The staff are the sweetest and kindest of my experience, and it is a great pleasure to be served with such charm and enthusiasm. Due to the high quality of the conference facilities within the hotel, The Kairaba regularly plays host to dignitaries and foreign ministers of state.

THE GAMBIA
The Gambia is the smallest country in West Africa. It is surrounded on three sides by Senegal and on the western side is the Atlantic Ocean. About 315 miles long, the country covers both banks of the mighty Gambia River, which throughout history has provided an entrance to this unique country from the Atlantic Ocean.
