A trip over Mount Teide is a must; the views from the peak are spectacular, with the many varied colours of different types of volcanic rock brought to life in the sunlight. Here, it is awash with many varieties of wild flowers ever changing with the seasons, but is always a delight to the nature lover.

COSTA ADEJE
Just north of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje is more exclusive than its popular neighbour. Ideal for a relaxing winter holiday, the atmosphere is low key. It boasts a small sandy beach, some excellent restaurants, and the nearby 27 hole championship golf course is a real bonus! The famous second beach of Playa del Duque consisting of a stunning stretch of sand with water‑sports, is just 600 metres away.
